Complete the track marked with a black line as quickly as possible using LEGO robots.
In the line-following competition, robots are tasked with completing the course as quickly as possible by following the black line on a white ground. The robots must be made of Lego pieces, because Lego line following is one of the most popular robotics competitions in the world. In this category the challenge is open to everyone, regardless of technical level and age group.
Competitions are valid for all age groups, and when deemed appropriate by the Competition Committee and the jury, participants can be divided into age groups and evaluated separately.
Participation in this category is paid and the cost per team and robot is €100. A Team consists of up to 5 people.
The field will be prepared using the same materials for the competition and tests. Robots must be registered in advance. This registration process includes a technical inspection of the robot, after which a label is attached and the order number is determined. The technical review must be completed within the time specified by the organizers. Any questions or problems that arise during the competition will be resolved by the referee. In case of any objection, the final decision will be made by the referee and/or organizers. All complaints must be directed to the referee during the match or immediately after its conclusion. Applications are limited to quota. A maximum quota of 20 teams has been determined for each category.
