Green Entrepreneurship

Green entrepreneurship is the activity of consciously addressing environmental and social problems and needs and developing bright innovative entrepreneurial ideas that will solve them. These ideas have a high level of risk, which has a positive impact on the natural environment and also helps maintain financial sustainability.

In other words, green entrepreneurship is businesses and companies that have a worldwide application and create solutions that can help protect the environment. At the same time, they must ensure that the solutions will not have a negative financial impact on the business.

Green Entrepreneur

A business cannot implement a method to create a sustainable energy source if it causes financial instability for the business itself.

Based on Green Entrepreneurship, we should also define the concept and position of Green Entrepreneur. The person behind the scenes is the person who runs the entire business.

Green Entrepreneur is a person who starts an enterprise venture that is green by design and all products and processes that come out of that venture are also green from the moment the venture is founded.

Health Sciences and Technologies

Health technology is defined by the World Health Organization as “the application of organized knowledge and skills in the form of devices, drugs, vaccines, procedures and systems developed to solve a health problem and improve the quality of life.”

Medical technology covers a wide range of healthcare products and is used to diagnose, monitor or treat diseases or medical conditions that harm people. Such technologies (applications of medical science) aim to improve the quality of healthcare provided through earlier diagnosis, less invasive treatment options, and reductions in hospital stays and rehabilitation times. Recent advances in medical technology have also focused on cost reduction. Medical technology in general may include medical devices, information technology, biotechnology, and healthcare.

The effects of medical technology may involve social and ethical issues. For example, doctors can seek objective information from technology rather than listening to subjective patient history.

An important factor in the growth of the sector is the consumption of medical technology. Providers can reach a wide audience at low cost, supported by the widespread use of smartphones and tablets, with a growing trend as wearable technologies permeate the market.

In the last five years running through the end of 2015, venture funding grew by 200%, injecting $11.7 billion into HealthTech businesses from over 30,000 investors in the space.

Robot Technologies

Robotics is the intersection of science, engineering, and technology that produces machines called robots that replicate or replace human actions. Pop culture has always been influenced by robots – examples include R2-D2, Terminator and WALL-E.

As technology advances, so does the scope of what is considered robotic. In 2005, 90 percent of all robots could be found in automotive factories assembling cars. These robots essentially consist of mechanical arms tasked with welding or screwing certain parts of a car.

Today, we are seeing an advanced and expanded definition of robotics that includes the development, creation, and use of bots that perform tasks such as exploring the planet’s harshest conditions, assisting law enforcement, streamlining surgical procedures, and undertaking rescue missions.
